In this class, we will be discussing China's Systematic Action on Food Loss Reduction and Policy Support. In this lecture, we will explore the philosophy of food saving and loss reduction and how China has reached a consensus on the importance of food and reducing food loss. We will also examine how China has systemized the entire industry chain to promote loss reduction and the laws, policies, standards, and management measures that have been put in place to support this effort. China recognizes the importance of food security and has made significant progress in reducing food loss in the past decade. However, there is still much work to be done, and we will examine the measures that China has put in place to address this issue. We will also discuss the role of government departments and agencies in this effort, as well as the importance of scientific and technological research, advanced technologies, and nationwide publicity to promote food saving and loss reduction. By the end of this lecture, you will have a better understanding of China's philosophy and approach to food saving and loss reduction, as well as the policies and measures that have been put in place to support this effort.
