The workshop, co-organized by WFP China Centre of Excellence and WFP Brazil Center of Excellence against Hunger, with support from Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, focused on nutrition and school feeding. It featured opening remarks by WFP representatives from China, Brazil, and the WFP Regional Centre, followed by two thematic sessions. The first session highlighted experiences from China, Brazil, and Zambia on leveraging school feeding to improve nutrition, while the second session showcased WFP's Preschool Children Nutrition Improvement Project in Hunan province, China, and introduced innovative practices such as digital nutrition tools. The workshop concluded with a discussion and closing remarks that underscored the importance of strengthening South-South cooperation in the field of nutrition.
