We will also cover the proper procedures and standards for vaccination, including handling and storage of the vaccine, accurate dosage administration, and minimizing stress on the birds. Additionally, we will emphasize the importance of keeping detailed vaccination records and monitoring the efficacy of the vaccines regularly. Proper disinfection of equipment is also essential to prevent the spread of disease. We will discuss the proper methods for equipment disinfection, such as washing with soap and water, followed by disinfectant application. Finally, we will cover the appropriate waste disposal methods for vaccination waste, including the designated area away from the birds. By the end of this class, you will have a thorough understanding of how to perform poultry vaccination, and you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge to maintain the health of poultry and improve productivity.
