The course also explains how to determine optimal harvest timing using crop maturity indicators and emphasize the importance of trial runs to fine-tune machine settings, such as roller gaps and threshing speeds. In addition, it outlines efficient operating strategies—such as adjusting travel speed, optimizing driving routes, and adapting techniques for challenging conditions like lodged corn—to minimize grain loss. Overall, the course highlights standardized and adaptive operating methods that help maximize yield quality across diverse farming environments.
