CERFAM

As the result of a strategic partnership between the Government of Côte d’Ivoire and the World Food Programme, the Regional Centre of Excellence against Hunger and Malnutrition (CERFAM) is a platform seeking to promote exchanges, partnerships, research, technical assistance and cooperation. South-South cooperation and capacity strengthening are at the core of CERFAM modus operandi and are key components to advance the fight against hunger and malnutrition. Partnering CERFAM, a South-South hub for learning and exchanges about innovative solutions to end hunger and malnutrition in Africa including good practices in school feeding and nutrition will ensure a field perspective to the webinar and a look for the gaps and needs in the continent in this area. CERFAM is a key partner in Africa to dissemination of good practices and lessons learned, and a convener to ensure the knowledge is applicated in the field to support progress in the implementation of the SDGs, especially SDG 2.
